DAC accreditation of Velosi in D - 10 Aug 2009
Velosi, the International Third Party Inspection Certification Company, have put their best foot forward by launching their new office in Dubai along with the privileged DAC accreditation.
The event took place at Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort & Towers, Dubai on 24th June 2009. The accreditation was officially presented by Dr. Yaser Saleh, principle accreditation office in charge of Dubai to Velosi.
The Velosi Group, with a remarkable history of providing quality assurance and quality control services to a number of leading national and multinational oil and gas companies have proved themselves through their four principal offices in USA, UK, Malaysia and the UAE.
Speaking in the event, Mr. Pandra Sudhir, Regional Manager, Middle East, Velosi introduced the Velosi Group's innumerous accreditations and services.
The services having a wide scope included lifting equipment, scaffolding inspection and training division, local third party inspection, design and engineering services, training and consultancy, management system certification, provision of specialized services and personnel, world wide vendor inspection and certification, ASME and other statutory inspection, rope access and specialized non destructive testing.
Apart from the privileged DAC accreditation, some of the other accreditations Velosi achieved are from DOSH Malaysian Department of Occupational Safety & Health, Central Boiler Board IBR, RvA Dutch Council for Accreditation, MOM Ministry of Manpower Singapore, UKAS United Kingdom Accreditation Service, Chief Controller Of Explosives India, UK department of Trade and Industry, IBMRE, European Commission, ATEX Certification, Russian GOST Export, Ministry of Labour, Russian and Kazakh Licence and many more.
The opportunity was also taken to announce the partnership with TWI, UK to run the training courses especially the HSC courses.
Richie Colley, Operations Manager, Velosi Certification Services LLC also conveyed the importance and necessity of certification, inspection and training in the event.
Handing over the DAC Accreditation, Dr. Yaser Saleh, principle accreditation office in charge of Dubai expressed his pleasure to accredit Velosi and appreciated their efforts to meet the requirements of such privileged accreditation.
The event concluded with the dinner proving to be a fine networking session for the distinguished guests gathered there. |
