Pulse Eddy Current inspection completed at ARCO/Shell EA Field
K2 ( A member of the Velosi Group) has successfully completed a Pulse Eddy Current inspection on conductors at the ARCO/Shell EA Field in Nigeria.
The majority of the work involved monitoring internal corrosion for conductors on a remote wellhead that had been
shut down for 3 years due to the presence of MEND (Movement for Emancipation of the Niger Delta).
The site had seen rampant illegal bunkering of crude oil since Shell removed their staff during the 3-year period. |
